The Wedding
Yes, we were married twice, the more the merrier!
The first wedding was held in Prague, Czech Republic that was witnessed by T's family and some friends. During the reception, the first "winter snow" dropped and it was really a memorable one.
The second was in Tagaytay City, Philippines, R's hometown. It was a big event that was witnessed by many, a lot of food and a lot of people. It was a typical "Filipino" gathering. If the snow fell on our civil wedding, the first rain of May fell during this second wedding celebration. It was a heavy rain, "a sign that God loves us" giving us a huge blessing on our wedding day. But above all these, the most important is the "pledge of love" was witnessed by God, our family, friends and relatives. It was the most beautiful wedding yet chaotic ;-)

"In some cultures, rain is good luck, and can represent cleansing or stronger unity in the marriage. It comes from several cultures mainly from the Hindu with the idea that a wet knot is harder to untie. Since marriage is often referred to as tying the knot. Rain was also a symbol of fertility to agricultural societies, since rain restored and maintained the wellness of crops. Crops were peoples main source of stability and income so it was thought to guarantee a long happy marriage! "
